how to get there


 

From Melbourne:

Travel south east along the Monash Freeway which leads into the Princes Freeway or M1 towards Pakenham. Take the 2nd Pakenham turnoff to the left (Koo-wee-rup/Pakenham Road or C422). Go across the first roundabout, over the rail-crossing and the Pakenham Racecourse is just up on the left.

 

From Mornington Peninsula:

Travel along the Tooradin-Baxter Road (C781), turn right into the South Gippsland Highway (M420), go through Tooradin and turn left into the first Koo-Wee-Rup turnoff. Go over the rail-crossing and take first left into the Koo-wee-rup/Pakenham Road (C422). Go over the M1 freeway, go across the first roundabout, over the rail-crossing and the Pakenham Racecourse is just up on the left.


From Gippsland:

Either travel along the Princes Highway/Freeway M1 towards Pakenham.  Take the Koo-wee-rup/Pakenham Road (C422) turnoff. Turn right and go over the M1 freeway, go across the first roundabout, over the rail-crossing and the Pakenham Racecourse is just up on the left.

Or if you come along the Bass Highway (A420) or South Gippsland Highway (A422), turn right into first Koo-wee-rup turnoff (Sybella Avenue C422).  Turn right at the Tee intersection, go over the rail-crossing and and take first left into the Koo-wee-rup/Pakenham Road (C422). Go over the M1 freeway, go across the first roundabout, over the rail-crossing and the Pakenham Racecourse is just up on the left.


From Melbourne Outer Eastern suburbs:

From Cockatoo, head south along Pakenham Road (C411). Turn left into the old Princes Highway. Go past the Pakenham turn-off.  Turn right into Racecourse Road (C422) towards Koo-Wee-Rup and the Pakenham Racecourse is just up on the right.

From Emerald, Narre Warren or Belgrave, travel along the Beaconsfield Emerald Road (C406) and turn left into the old Princes Highway. Go past the Pakenham turn-off.  Turn right into Racecourse Road (C422) towards Koo-Wee-Rup and the Pakenham Racecourse is just up on the right.
